Should all the organisms classified under group fungi be necessarily multicellular?or are there unicellular fungi which come under group fungi and not protista?

It is not necessary that all the organisms classified under fungi are multicellular as classification not only depends on the type of cell but also on other characteristics also like modes of nutrition, cellularity etc. Yeast is an unicellular fungi that comes under kingdom fungi not in kingdom protista
