SHOULD THE IGNITION TEMPERATURE OF A FUEL BE BELOW ROOM TEMPERATURE? WHY?

Open in App
Solution

The ignition temperature is the temperature is the temperature at which the fuel catches fire. If the ignition temperature is below the room temperature, the fuel will easily catch fire if kept in the room, and we don't want that. The ignition temperature of a good fuel should be above the room temperature.
