Since laboratory thermometers have temp.range between -10C and 110C, it must be able to measure temparatures between 35C and 42C,right?

So why can't we use laboratory thermometers to measure body temperature?

Yes, technically we should be able to measure body temperature with a lab thermometer as the scale covers the human body temperature range. However, it is always advisable to use a clinical thermometer.
