Solution

Hi Shivranu!

Sound is a mechanical wave. It needs a medium to travel through. The space between Earth and other planets is vacuum. There are no molecules to propagate the mechanical vibrations of the explosion, and sound cannot travel through vacuum. Therefore, a person on Earth cannot hear the explosions on other planets.

Cheers!!
