area of cube of side 'a' = 6a²

volume of cube of side 'a' = a³

so, ratio

area/volume = 6a² / a³ = 6/a

the area of a sphere inside a cube of side 'a' will be

area = 4Ï€(a/2)²

= Ï€a²

volume of cube of side 'a' = a³

so, ratio

area/volume = Ï€a² / a³ = Ï€/a

as a = 1

area/volume = π
