ZANU-PF had led the country to independence and since then it has been in power. However, it has not been simply popularity but also unfair practices in elections that kept the party in power. This gives this party to make all laws. Moreover, the opposition view is hardly considered.
Magube made several laws that aimed to keep the party in power and crush all oppositions. Some of the laws are follows:
Public protests and demonstrations against the government are declared illegal
There is a law that limits the right to criticise the President
Television and radio are controlled by the government and give only the ruling party’s version.
