What causes Tendril to encircle or coil around the object in contact with it. Explain the process involved.

When a tendril comes into contact with its support, the contact acts as a stimulus and as tendrils are positively thigmotropic (response to touch or physical contact) it grows by being in contact with its support and in this manner tendrils coil around a support.
