Question

The length (distance) moved by both the piston will be different.

Larger piston move smaller distance and smaller piston move larger distance because of different cross-sectional area.

The mean is that we have to apply more force to move an object of large area Then it can be done directly . Why Hydrolic lift ?

Solution

"Larger piston move smaller distance and smaller piston move larger distance because of different cross-sectional area" is a loophole basically because the movement of the piston would rather depends upon the pressure/force exerted on the piston, as explained if we apply a force F on the piston of smaller area its value will increase by a multiple equals to the ratio of the areas of two piston(bigger area/smaller area) based on the Pascal's law, which states that change in pressure at any point in an enclosed incompressible fluid is transmitted undiminished to all points in the fluids.
