Briefly describe the tussle between democracy and arbitrary rule in India’s neighboring countries in 1990’s Pakistan and Nepal

The neighbouring countries of India, Pakistan and Nepal had not adopted or enacted democracy. Pakistan had fallen to the rule of military dictatorship and Nepal was ruled by monarchs. But the people wanted democracy. hence, there was a struggle in the neighbourhood of India.
