Satellite DNA is a large tandemly repeating DNA that does not code and is found in centromeres. Repetitive DNA is the non coding sequence of DNA that is repeated several times in the genetic make of an individual. Satellite DNA is a highly repetitive DNA of approximately 5-100 nucleotides that occurs as a stretch and are repeated thousand of times.
