A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more chemically non reacting substances whose composition can be varied within certain limits.. Every solution has two parts :1. a solvent and 2. one or more solutes.
A solution can be solid, liquid or gas depending upon the nature of components.
Advantages:
Solutions are widely used in different medical and chemical industries like:
1. They are used for injection and syrups, suspension etc. in medicinal use
2. They are easily administrated and especially used as oral medication for children.
3. The solution contains a homogeneous or uniform preparation which could provide a uniform dose or fixed value of components at a given dilution.
4.They are easily measurable if accurate measuring instruments are used.
5.They are used to dissolve many compounds and elements in lab during chemical reactions.
6. They provide a medium for reactions.
