Probability to speak truth by P = 75/100 = 3/4 (Given in 75 % cases he will speak truth)

Probability to speak lie by P = 25/100 = 1/4

Probability to speak truth by Q = 90/100 = 9/10


Probability to speak lie by Q = 10 /100 = 1/10

We have to find probability when both will contradict each other means we have to find probability of case when 1 lie and second speak truth

R = P (lie) * Q (truth) + P(truth) * Q (lie)

R = 1/4 * 9/10 + 3/4 * 1/10

R = 9/40+ 3/40

R = 12/40

So in terms of percentage r = R *100 % = (12/40) *100 = 30 %

In 30% cases both will contradict each other
