Similarities:

(1) Both camera and human eye have convex lenses.

(2) The parts of the human eye are similar to the parts of the camera.

Differences:

(1) The camera uses films or CCD (Charge Coupled Devices) as the screen. The screen of human eye is the retina.

(2) There is a blind spot for the human eye. But there is no blind spot for the camera.
