State the condition for electromagnetic induction to take place. A cylindrical bar magnet is kept along the axis of a circular coil.Will there be a current induced in the coil if the magnet is rotated about its axis. Discuss

Whenever the amount of magnetic flux linked with a circuit changes an e.m.f is induced in the circuit.
If a cylindrical bar magnet is kept along the axis of a circular coil.There will be no induced current in the coil because flux through the coil do not change and if the magnet is rotated about its axis magnetic flux will induced in the circuit because here flux changes.

Induced emf (e) =B.A = BA Cos(theta) , where theta is the angle between B and A.

When we revolve bar magnet theta change as there will be an induced emf in the loop.
