Open in App
Solution

Indrima perfect answer :

According to the law of mixing,
Like dissolves like i.e polar compound dissolve polar and non-polar one dissolve non polar. Thus, LiCl is a covalent compound so its tends to show high solubility in alcohol as alcohol is also covalent in nature whereas NaCl ionic compound in nature and does not dissolve in alcohol.
