Ultraviolet radiation
Ultraviolet radiation is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength shorter than that of visible light, but longer than X-rays, i.e. in the range between 400 nm and 10 nm.
Visible radiation
Visible radiation is electromagnetic radiation which causes the sensation of sight. It has wavelengths between about 380 nm and 780 nm.
Infrared radiation
Infrared radiation is electromagnetic radiation with longer wavelengths than those of visible light. It has wavelengths between about 700 nm to 1 mm.
