Open in App
Solution

Given, ratio of two numbers = 3:4

and H.C.F of the numbers = 4

So, two numbers will be equal to the product of their corresponding ratio with the H.C.F of the two numbers.

∴ first number = 3 × 4 = 12

and second number = 4 × 4 = 16

We know that,

First number × Second number = L.C.M × H.C.F

⇒ 12 × 16 = L.C.M × 4

⇒ L.C.M = 12 × 4 = 48
