A wave pulse on a string moves a distance of 8 m in 0.05 secs. find the velocity of the pulse and the wavelenght of the wave on the string if its frequency is 200 hz

v = x/t
Given x =8m
t = 0.05s
So, v = x/t
= 8/0.05
= 800/5
= 160m/s
Also, v = f*Î»
f = 200Hz
Î» = v/f
= 160/200
=0.8 m
