Digestion of fat that are taken in with food takes place in small intestine. The bile juice contains acids and salts that emulsifies or breaks down fat into smaller droplets. Further the enzyme lipase converts fat into fatty acids and glycerol which are absorbed by the lymphatic system and poured into the bloodstream.
