Open in App
Solution

Variants are important for creating some differences in organism which may be better adapted to a given situation in nature but it is also important to produce similar offspring to pass genes of an organism to the next generation. Variants are produced as a result of mutation or other situations which are not normal. But producing similar offspring is a normal phenomenon.
