Biodiversity came on earth as a result of survival of the fittest. There occurs a huge amount of competition for food, space and mating between the same and different species. In order to survive organisms must adapt to the changing environmental conditions. These may occur by mutations, genetic drift of recombination. The fit organisms survive by natural selection. However the process of evolution is not static but dynamic which causes biodiversity in organisms.
