Students A,Band C are given spoons each made of plastic,wood n brass respectively. Each of them were asked to dip their respective spoons in container of boiling water n hold dem for a minute. One of given could not carry out d instruction. Why?

This is an interesting experiment which could be easily performed even at home to demonstrate the conduction of heat through different material i.e plastic wood and brass.

After performing experiment we get to know that , wooden and plastic spoons do not conduct heat when it is dipped in a boiling water but brass spoon after a while becomes noticeably hot .
This proves that metal is a good conductor of heat while plastic and wood are a bad conductor or poor conductor.

Brass is an alloy of Copper and Zinc metal.
