Symptoms of infectious disease appear to be more acute which includes fever, body ache, generalised weakness, along with symptoms involving the area they infect such as tuberculosis produces cough, flu produces coryza, stomach flu produce abdominal pain. Whereas symptoms of non-infectious disease presents after the disease affects the organ such as in asthma the person presents with wheezing, patient with diabetes presents with increased urination and fatigue along with tiredness, person with kidney disease presents with decreased urination etc.
Therefore infectious disease has generalised picture which involves the whole body and vague symptoms such as whole body ache and generalised weakness whereas non-infectious disease has localised picture involving the target area where disease affects.
