Solution

In case of iron nail strong intermolecular forces are present. When we hit iron nail it will not break after putting so much of force shape will get changed but it will not break.

In chalk intermolecular forces are small so when we try to break it, it will easily breaks.

In case of rubber intermolecular forces are weak after stretching it, it will break down.

Therefore intermolecular forces are present in all the cases that is why they are exists in the solid form only when we apply some force on them they breaks down.
