Then, length of rectangular board = Double the width = $2 \times 1.4$ = 2.8 m
So, area of the rectangular black board = $1.4 \times 2.8 = 3.92 m^{2}$
Cost of painting per $m^{2}$ = Rs.19
So, total cost of painting 3.92 $m^{2}$ of rectangular board = $19 \times 3.92$ = Rs.74.48
