Solution

Dear Student!!

Thrust is the force acting on a body perpendicular to its surface. Thrust is one type of force that always perpendicular to the surface.

Pressure is the ratio of force applied on an object and the magnitude of contact area.

Atmosphere applies a force perpendicular to the surface of our body at each point called thrust. This thrust acting per unit area is called atmospheric pressure.
