Solution

Cost of a cricket bat = Rs.54
Then, cost of two cricket bats = 54×2 = Rs.108
According to the given parenthesis;
Cost of three pairs of gloves = Cost of two cricket bats = Rs.108
Then. the cost of each pair of glove = 1083 = Rs.36
So, cost of two pairs of gloves = 36×2 = Rs.72
Again according to the given parenthesis;
Cost of three pairs of leg pads = cost of two pairs of gloves = Rs.72
Then, the cost of each pair of leg pad = 723 = Rs.24
So, cost of two pairs of leg pads = 24×2 = Rs.48
Therefore, Cost of 3 cricket balls = cost of two pairs of leg pads = Rs.48
Then, cost of each cricket ball = 483 = Rs.16
Hence cost of a cricket ball is Rs.16.

Now, cost price of 2 pairs of leg pads = Rs.48
And selling price of 2 pairs of leg pads = Rs.60
Then, profit on 2 pairs of leg pads = 60 - 48 = Rs.12
Therefore, profit % = 12×10048 = 25%
