Solution

WE know that under the Jacobins the revolution took a radical turn. However, the situation of women did not change. They were locked indoors. Influenced by the ideas of Rousseau the Jacobins believed that women also had an important role to play in teh revolution but that was to be conducted by staying indoors. They were the caregivers but deserved no political rights. Thus can be said that till this time too women wee treated equal .
