The minute hand of clock is 7cm long. Calculate the distance covered and the displacement of minute hand of the clock from 9:00 am to 9:30 am?

We know that a minute hand clock moves in circular motion having radius 7 cm (given in question)
Now distance is path covered by the body which is equal to πr because minute hand sweeps half of circle in 30 minute and 2πr in 1 hr.
So distance covered is πr = 3.14×7 cm
=21.98 cm
And displacement distance between initial point and final point
Hence = r+r = 2r = 2×7 = 14 cm.
