The palm of our hand feels warm when we place it above a burning candle. State why.

Heat is nothing but warmth or we may say heat is the radiation that travels in the form of waves which is also called heat transfer. So, the heat moves or travels from hotter medium to the colder medium and thus the surface of the palm or the nearby air get warm when the hand is kept nearby the burning candle.
