the perimeter of a triangle whose is 36 cm. if the sides are in 1:2:3 ratio,then find the length of the smalles side in cm.

Since the sides are in the ratio 1:2:3.
So suppose the sides are x, 2x and 3x.
Then perimeter of triangle = x + 2x + 3x = 36 cm
6x = 36x = 366 = 6
Therefore the smallest side is 6 cm.
