Given, Hi = Ho/4 and f = 30 cm
As, magnification is given by :
m = height of image height of object= H0/4H0=14 .........(1)
As, m = image distance object distance=- vu = 14 ...............(2)
so, u = -4v
as, mirror formula is given by :
1f=1u+1v ............(3)
put value of u in eq (3), to know the object distance from the mirror.
