Question

the temperature of a body rises from 90 degree celsius to 100 degree selsius

what is the rise in temperature in

1} degree fahrenheit

2} kelvin

Open in App
Solution

Since, Tf = 32+ 9/5 Tc
where, Tf is the temperature in degree fahrenheit and Tc is the temperature in degree celsius.
Using conversion formula, we get 900C = 1940F
and 1000C = 2120F

Hence,

rise in temperature in degree fahrenheit = (212 - 194)0F = 180F

Since, Tc = Tk - 273.15
where Tk is the temperature in kelvin
Hence, using conversion formula, we get 900C = 363.15 K and 1000C = 373.15 K
hence, rise in temperature in kelvin = (373.15 - 273.15) = 100 K
