Given that ,
P1 = 8 atm
V1 = 7.6 dm3
P2 = 20 % of 8 atm + 8 atm
= 1.6 atm + 8 atm
= 9.6 atm
V2 = ?
According to eq (1) ...V2 = P 1 V 1 / P 2
= 8 atm x 7.6 dm3 / 9.6 atm
= 6.3 dm3
