Eugenics is a science that deals with improvement of the qualities of the human species or a human population especially by means of discouraging reproduction in persons having genetic defects or presumed to have inheritable undesirable traits or encouraging reproduction in persons presumed to have inheritable desirable traits.	Euthenics is the science which deals with the improvements of the different functions of humans as well as betterment of their living condition.
The term eugenics was given by Francis Galton.
