there is some water in the beaker placed on the pan of a spring balance. if we dip our finger in this water without touching the bottom of beaker, then what would be the effect on the reading of balance?

Taking the case of ideal condition i.e. neglecting the viscosity of the water. The reading of spring balance will not change, as the weight of the finger is balanced by our body.
