Solution

Since we get several questions in a day to answer so sometimes answering may get delayed.

The forests are a huge repository of valuable forests products and minerals which caters to the needs of every section of the community, be it people from rural areas who require land for agriculture, for urban industrial development or even the tribal communities who are dependent on these forests for their very existence. Thus, it means different things to different people, and becomes a source of conflict and debate as to what is actually leading to the depletion of these natural resources, which community is consuming more of these resources and who is to share responsibility for environmental degradation. Even though depletion of forests it is a result of combination of a large number of factors:

a. Agricultural Expansion

b. Expansion of railways, commercial and scientific forestry, mining activities etc.

c. Growth of large scale developmental projects.

d. Increased grazing and fuel wood collection leading to deforestation.

e. Habitat destruction, hunting, poaching, over exploitation of resources, pollution.
