P=(acosθ,bsinθ),Q=(asinθ,bcosθ)
If (x1,y1) is the midpoint of PQ then (x1,y1) = (a(cosθsinθ)2,b(cosθ+sinθ)2)
2x1a=cosθsinθ,2y1b=cosθ+sinθ
But (cosθsinθ)2+(cosθ+sinθ)2=24x21a2+4y21b2=2
Locus is x2a2+y2b2=12
