1) Government based on different religious communities prevailed in Lebanon as rules of power sharing were mainly done on this basis

2) Though this system does not cope with democratic rules, it suited best for Lebanon because the region has different types of people belonging to different communities and as this method gives equal opportunities and peace for all in Lebanon, this is the best form of government
