Bill walks from his house to train station = $\frac{3}{4}$ miles
From station to his office = $\frac{1}{2}$ miles
And as he repeat the process to come back home
So he walks in a day = $\frac{3}{4}$ + $\frac{1}{2}$ + $\frac{3}{4}$ + $\frac{1}{2}$ = 2 . 5 miles

As he goes office for half day on Tuesday but he had to follow daily routine So, Tuesday is included in his week
And As he did not works on Wednesday and Sunday, So total days of working = 5 days
