Satyagrah may be said to be relevant in present times because it has nothing to do with forms of violence whatever they might be. It stands the test of time.Wars emanate from the mind of the oppressor. Satyagrah appeals to the moral dimension of the oppressor. In present day economies where the government are trying to tackle the intricacies of development, they can't afford to throw themselves into wars and instability. Satyagrah proves to be the safest and most peaceful way of confrontation.
