1) sum of 3 and x = 3 + x
7 less than the sum of 3 and x = 3 + x - 7
So 7 less than sum of 3 and x divided by 5 = 3+x-75
2) difference between p and 6 = p - 6
then one-third of difference between p and 6 = 13p-6
So one-third of difference between p and 6 added to 8 = 13p-6 + 8
4) quotient of 4 and 5 = 45
Product of 6 and z = 6z
So the quotient of 4 and 5 added to the product of 6 and z = 45+6z
