two bikes were sold for Rs 60000 each on one the shopkeeper gain Rs 10000 and on another bike loss was Rs 8000. Find his loss and gain in %.On each bike also Find his total loss or gain in %.

Total selling price = 60000×2= Rs.1,20,000
Cost price of first bike = selling price - gain = 60000-10000=Rs. 50000
Cost price of second bike = selling price + loss =60000+8000=Rs.68000

(i) Gain% of first bike=gainCP×100=1000050000×100=20%

Loss% on second bike=lossCP×100=800068000×100=11.76%


(ii) Total SP= 2(60000)=Rs 1,20,000
Total CP=50,000+68,000=1,18,000
Total Gain = Total selling price - Total cost price = 120000-118000= Rs.2,000
Total gain %= gaincost price×100=2000118000*100=1.69%
