Question

How does blood cancer occur?

Open in App
Solution

Blood cancer occurs due to sudden mutation of the blood cell. Mutation trigger due to exposure to carcinogens (cancer causing substances) and even some viruses. Mutated cells divide without a check or a control. The daughter cells are different from the parent cell and other cells of the same type. This uncontrolled division leads to faulty cells that do not perform the proper tasks. Thus leading to blood cancer.
