jute plant uses the fertility of a soil to a large extent why?

Jute crop normally grows in areas which has fresh alluvial soil deposited by the rivers. Such soil is very rich in nitrogen, calcium, potash and phosphorus. Without the application of manure or fertilizers the jute plant is capable of extracting most nutrients and give a very high yeild per acre of land under cultivation.
