Question

why is bile juice stored in the gall bladder ?

Open in App
Solution

Liver secretes bile, the digestive juice, which is temporarily stored in the gall bladder. The gall bladder extracts water from its store of bile until the liquid becomes highly concentrated. When we eat foods, it triggers the gall bladder to squeeze its bile concentrate into the small intestine. The bile juice plays an important role in the digestion of fats.
