voluntary muscles do not branch but cardiac muscles are branched. what does it mean? exp. with diagram if possible.

Cardiac muscles are the muscles of the heart. They are striated, branched and involuntary. These muscles possess excitability, contractility, extensibility and elasticity as they regulate the heart beat. Also branching gives cardiac muscles more sites to meet/ attach with one another.
