Both of them belong to same animal group but they are quit different animals. Following are some differences between toad and frog.

They have rough, dry, warty skin.	They have smooth, moist skin that makes them look “slimy”.
They have a wider body.	They have a narrow body.
They have lower,ball shaped eyes.	They have higher, rounder, bulgier eyes.
They have shorter, less powerful hind legs.	They have longer powerful hind legs.
