we can easily move our hand in air but not thherough any solid material. Justify the statement giving any three possible reasons ?

Actually, the gas particles have maximum energy and so they remain at distances while the solid particles are closely attached so the structure becomes compact where we can not move our hands while the gaseous particles provide sufficient space and medium so we can move our hands.
