WE know that Amniotic fluid is utilised by protecting the foetus from frictional jerks as its a thick fluid around the foetus.
But what happens to the same fluid after the process of Parturation is completed?

At the time of pregnancy, the amount of amniotic fluid kept on increasing but 10-12 weeks later, its declines. The quantity of amniotic fluid depends on the growth of foetus. After parturition, the amniotic fluid is released out of the body along with the baby.
